Hmmm...what to say that will be truthful, without being boring. Okay, here goes:
I'm currently living in the Metro DC area. I'm married to George, a newly retired educator who is now a writer. We have three wonderful cats, who are the lights of our lives. Clara, Wendy, and Whisper. all came to us through chance and we are grateful for the privilege of caring for them.
I'm a Christian and a tree-hugging, dirt worshipping liberal. I try to follow the teachings of Jesus, but I don't always succeed. I dedicate each day to Jesus Christ and ask for His help and guidance in getting through it. He's never let me down.
I'm a full time artist. I travel around painting and exhibiting in art festivals. I work in pastels, colored pencil, pen and ink, and markers, mostly. I love plein air painting. To me, it's like eating Godiva chocolates with a champagne chaser, then finding out that somebody took all the calories out.
